Through God’s provision, we have been gifted a space that will become our future home! Over the next months, we will prepare for the move. Here’s how you can join us in making this a reality.
About the 1st Street Campus
This is more than a building—it’s a strategic base of operations in one of Huntsville's most rapidly developing neighborhoods.

Why This?
Simply put, Redeemer is out of space again.
We’ve seen a tremendous amount of growth, and we’ve at a point where we may have to restrict or remove the things which we think make Redeemer special: our regular meals, classes, bible studies, and more. We increasingly run out of space (and time) on Sunday mornings.
What's The Opportunity?
The 1st Street Campus is nearly an entire city block where we can grow in multiple phases.
Aspirations: Phase I
- 250-person+ multipurpose assembly space for corporate worship and other events
- Hospitable lobby space
- Seven, dedicated Redeemer Kids rooms behind controlled-access
- Warming kitchen
- Hospitable bathrooms on first and second floors
- Dedicated student ministry space
- Three, dedicated adult masterclass rooms
Timeline
At the moment, we are not prepared to project a date when we’ll occupy the building. We are grateful for our continued relationship with First Cumberland, and we will remain there during the work phase.

Initial Seed Goal: $750,000
Covers engineering, initial construction study, legal fees, abatements, architectural renderings, downpayment, etc.

Pray
Seriously, this is the most important thing. Commit to pray for God to meet our needs at this facility. We've learned He really will answer them. We need his help.
Give
Make an initial contribution to Phase I. Craftsman, designers, and engineers need to feed their families, and workers are worthy of their wages.

What are we raising money for?
Great question! Phase I accomplishes everything necessary to move into the building:
- the removal of asbestos and other hazardous materials,
- the reconfiguration of classrooms to fit Redeemer Kids,
- the inclusion of Redeemer Students,
- security upgrades,
- hospitality touches, like updated bathrooms, lobby spaces (lacking at 1802!), and a coffee bar
- a multipurpose assembly area for corporate worship and more!
How do I give?

Can I volunteer?
Yes! You don’t have to be a member or even a regular attender for that matter.
We’re extremely grateful that local churches have already reached out and indicated their intent to help us get this building ready for occupation as soon as possible.

What happens after Phase I?
While there is a site plan the city has approved, the long-term plans for Redeemer do not extend beyond a ten-year horizon. A campus master plan will be developed after we occupy the existing structure.
