Our Leadership
Redeemer Church is led in plurality. We believe this to be the New Testament pattern of church leadership. So, we are served by a team of elders and deacons.
Our congregation appoints our elders to teach the Bible, provide pastoral care, and equip us all for ministry to one another. Each of these men are qualified to serve as pastors in Christ’s church.
Also, our church is served by a group of men and women called deacons. We appoint deacons to humbly serve our church in various practical ways; therefore, they set an example for all members of the body.
Staff
Mary Ann Hudson
Church Administrator
Mary Ann serves as the church administrator at Redeemer. Before Redeemer, she and her husband were sent by the Church at Brook Hills (Birmingham) to help church plant in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. She also served on staff at that church.
Mary Ann and Matt, her husband, are Alabama natives, and they have three incredible kids.

Noah Fowler
Pastoral Assistant
Noah serves as a pastoral assistant at Redeemer. Before Redeemer, he served with a church staff in Alabama and interned at his church in Kentucky. Noah plans to graduate with his M.Div. at Southern Seminary in Louisville in early 2024.
Noah and Katie, his wife, are born and raised in Huntsville. When they are not busy, they enjoy reading books and spending time outdoors.

Zach Carter
Senior Pastor
Zach serves as one of the pastors at Redeemer. Before Redeemer, he had served with four church staffs across Alabama and Kentucky. While in Kentucky, he completed his M.Div. (2017) and Ph.D. (2022) at Southern Seminary in Louisville. He is also one of the editors of Cloud of Witnesses (Crossway, 2024) and serves as an adjunct professor in church history at Boyce College.
Zach and Morgan, his wife, are Huntsville metro natives. They have three incredible kids. When not running around with the crew, they love hosting friends and cooking great food.
