Why We Give
Why Give?
Christians give because we’ve received everything we have from God. We don’t give out of obligation or fear, but we give as an expression of joy. Giving frees us from the cares of this world, and it transforms us into the likeness of God who gave us everything in Christ.
Why Give to Redeemer?
Redeemer aims to glorify God in all things, and that means we bend all of our resources towards that, including our finances. Sometimes glorifying God means paying rent so we have a place to gather, but in other times, it means sending much needed support to our city partners and global workers.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS, or more commonly, PCI) are a set of standards set forth by the four major card associations to protect cardholder data. All merchants and processors need to have physical, electronic, and procedural controls in place to ensure that cardholder data is stored and handled securely at all times.
Planning Center, our giving platform, is a PCI Level One compliant merchant.
Planning Center's payment processor, Stripe, is one of the largest, most advanced payment processors in the world. They handle payment processing for services like Kickstarter, Lyft, Shopify, Pinterest, Twitter, Heroku, SurveyMonkey, and many other companies. Stripe is also a certified "PCI Service Provider Level 1" payment processor.
No, and neither does Planning Center.
Stripe is Planning Center's third party payment processor. So, none of your account numbers, details, or balances are stored nor accessible to either Planning Center or Redeemer.
More information on Stripe's security can be found here.
Gifts to churches, such as Redeemer, must be irrevocably contributed without any conditions on their use.
In the event of a duplicate gift or accidental gift, the church treasurer with the elders may make individual exemptions to this financial policy.
At any time, you can download a giving statement by navigating to your profile page on Church Center. Scroll down to "My Giving." From there you can manage recurring gifts, review gift history, and change payment methods.
Additionally, statements are mailed by the church office each year by January 31.
